Nope, no snowstorm here, though it is currently slushing out. It was just a no work and no blog day, I guess.
Jessi mentions on her blog that I've encouraged her to read Life of Pi. I'd like to clarify for the void: if you've started, definintely finish Life of Pi. The ending is incredibly thought-provoking for me. But I'm in no way advocating starting reading Life of Pi. The phrase "slog through" doesn't usually come through in my discussions of books I recommend to friends.
I think Jon Foer's book might have been overhyped a little, but I still enjoyed it. The parts written by the Ukranian (I can't remember his name) were just so funny - I guess now we know what happens when you use the thesauraus to write a novel. You know what I found horribly overhyaped, though? White Teeth. Really disliked that book.
