Cat, you now must post pictures of the kitten on the blog!

Sorry to harp on the Olympics, but this Paul Hamm controversy is just the saddest thing ever. Here's an article that sums it up best. In a subjective sport, the same routine will be judged differently on different days and even on the same day. You can't bring in instant replay to gymnastics, or meets would take two weeks. And you certainly can't be South Korea and go around yelling about how your gymnast deserves .1 additional to his score because the start value was miscalculated, but fail to mention that they replay shows he should have had a .2 deduction for other stuff. Have to review everything if you tell people to review something, folks. If you don't like the scoring system, pick a less subjective sport. End of story. And the idiot Olympic officials that are saying they can't do anything, but if Paul was willing to give up his medal...need to sit down and shut up.

Poor guy. I remember reading a quote saying that he was hoping that the gold medal would lead to a sponsorship that would allow him to replace the 6-year old car he shares with his brother. And now no sponsorship companies will probably touch him. Just sucks. His one shining moment, ruined by idiots.
