I know that I'm probably alone in this on the blog, but man, I love the Olympics. I love the wacky opening ceremonies. I love the swimming and gymnastics and rowing, I tolerate the TV coverage.

I enjoyed yelling "Shut UP, Bob Costas" during the entire opening ceremonies. Should have just watched the thing on mute. I have spent the weekly obsessing over how I'm going to watch my cousin on tv (damn you, NBC, with your "all gymnastics, all swimming, all the time" coverage).

I think I am the only person on the North American continent that likes the tape delay. Honestly, it's easier for me to watch. Knowing the results, I don't get all tense and can watch and enjoy things. Yes, I know I'm weird.
